Current Openings

  • We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hospitality Manager to oversee the daily operations of our marina. This position is responsible for managing all areas of the facility, including fuel dock operations, food and beverage services, retail sales, and patio management, while maintaining a safe, efficient, and enjoyable environment for both guests and staff.

    The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, a passion for hospitality and the ability to manage both people and processes in a fast-paced seasonal business.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Management

    - Oversee daily marina operations including fueling, retail services, and customer assistance.

    - Manage food and beverage areas, including ice cream, pizza, snacks, and licensed patio.

    - Monitor and ordering inventory levels for fuel, food, and retail supplies.

    - Ensure all areas of the marina are safe, clean, and operating in compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.

    - Maintain equipment, docks and facilities, coordinating maintenance or repairs as required.

    Leadership/Staff Management

    - Recruit, train, schedule and supervise a seasonal team of marina employees.

    - Lead by example, fostering a professional, positive, and customer-focused team culture.

    - Conduct regular staff meetings, performance check-ins, and ensure adherence to company polices.

    Financial Oversight

    - Manage daily sales, cash handling, and fuel inventory reconciliation.

    - Track operating expenses, order supplies, and coordinating with vendors.

    - Create and receive Purchase Orders

    - Prepare reports and assist in budget planning and revenue tracking.

    Safety & Compliance

    - Ensure proper fueling and spill prevention procedures are followed.

    - Maintain up-to-date compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, and health inspection requirements.

    - Enforce all marina rules and regulations to ensure customer and staff safety.

    Qualifications

    - Minimum 5 yearsโ€™ experience in hospitality management

    - Proficient in English in both oral and written communication skills

    - Proven leadership skills with experience managing staff in a fast-paced environment.

    -Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities

    - Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word

    - Smart Serve certified

    - Pleasure Craft Operator card and confident boating skills. Knowledge of Lake Rosseau an asset

    - Willingness to work weekends and holidays in addition to weekdays.

    Training We Provide

  • Key Responsibilities  

    • Inspect, maintain and repair boats/PWCs of all makes and models

    • Summarize and winterization of boats and PWC

    • Perform service and maintenance on watercraft

    • Rigging and PDI of new boats, trailers, and marine engines 

    • Forklift, tractor vehicle and trailer maintenance and repairs

    • Competent welding and fabrication an asset but not required 

    • Assist in delivery and pick up from time to time

    • Education in combination with marine technical work experience and asset 

    • Proficient use of computer diagnostic programs

    Requirements

    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced TEAM environment 

    • Experience trailering boats

    • Clean G class license 

    • Basic understanding of boats and P.W.C. mechanical and electrical

    • Able to work weekends and evenings 

    • Have own tools

    • Must have safety boots and outdoor clothing for all conditions 

    • Must be able to work kneeling, bent over, climb ladders and be able to lift 50 lbs

    • Able to work in variable work environments/ conditions both indoor and outdoor

    • Must have own reliable transportation 

    • Must have the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with accuracy and speed

    • Pleasure Craft Operator Card 

    • Minimum 2 years experience

  • Key Responsibilities   

    • Opening and closing procedures for store and fuel dock

    • Light property maintenance indoors and outdoors (including cleaning)

    • Fuelling boats and PWC (training will be provided)

    • Upholding the positive and fun work environment we maintain at our locations

    • Answering and recording phone messages accurately and clearly, plus reporting messages to the correct people

    • Preparing food and drinks

    • Serving customers on our licensed patio

    Requirements 

    • Must be at least 16 years old

    • Must have a valid boaterโ€™s license

    • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors and able to lift 50lbs frequently/daily

    • Proficient computer skills are required

    • Must be able to work some or most weekends-holidays throughout July and August

    • SmartServe certification is strongly recommended

  • Key Responsibilities   

    • Towing, launching and operating a variety of watercraft in a safe and timely fashion

    • Maintaining tidy and efficient order at the shop and yard facilities

    • Operation of all yard/ shop equipment (i.e. tractor, fork truck) with a safety-first mentality 

    • Any other duties assigned by management

    Requirements 

    • Ability to work independently and as a team to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and timely matter

    • Clean class G driver's licence

    • Valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card

    • Capable of handling the physical requirements of connecting trailers, climbing ladders, carrying equipment, lifting to 50lbs

    • Ability to work flexible hours including rotating weekends and some evenings 

    • Knowledge of Muskoka Lakes is an asset but not required

    Working with the Service Coordinator, you will be part of Muskoka Marinasโ€™ growing service department. Your primary objective will be to ensure the highest level of service for our valued customers; this means completing a variety of tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Interior and exterior cleaning of boats

    • Power washing and hull scrubbing

    • Cleaning of trucks and equipment 

    • Maintain general tidiness of yard, yard and marina

    • Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

    Requirements

    • Knowledge in buff/ waxing an asset but not required 

    • A clean class G license is an asset but not required 

    • Able to work flexible hours including some weekends and evenings 

    • Able to work OUTDOORS in all weather conditions

    • Minimum of 16 years of age
